Interviews could be done over a telephone or directly with the concerned person/s. It is advised to be well prepared for your interview with good sleep and healthy food. If your interview is over phone, make sure to take the call from from a place where you will not be disturbed. Remember to use a good quality working headset as well!
Interviews usually starts with a casual conversation, for eg. how was your travel? was it easy to find the place? Do you like to have a coffee? etc.) . Interviewer then talks about the job description, department and the company. This is an opportunity for you to understand and get a clear idea about your job responsibilities.
Once the introduction by your prospective employer is over, it is your turn. Even though you are only asked to simply introduce yourself, it is an opportunity to for you showcase your skills and abilities. Frame the sentences in such way that you talk about all the keywords and specific skill set required for the job. Provide amble examples from your experience to corroborate your statements. Depending on your answers more questions will be asked by the interviewer.
At the end of your interview, you will have opportunity to ask questions on any topics covered in the interview. You can also ask about a approximate date in which the results can be known, notice period etc.
